The Monmouth/Ocean SBDC counsels small businesses on the necessary steps to become vendors to the State of New Jersey. We provide assistance with the following:

  • Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Registration Form
  • Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Certification Form
  • Women Business Enterprise (WBE) Certification Form

Registration of a SBE and/or Certification of a MBE/WBE will enable vendors to participate in New Jersey Set-Aside Program. The State of New Jersey Small Business Set-Aside program includes goals that 25% of state contracts and purchase order dollars be awarded to Small Business Enterprises (SBE). SBE registration will add your company’s name to a state listing of vendors eligible to participate in these selected contract offerings.
