The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is seeking nominations for the Tibbetts Awards now through May 4, 2022. This year’s awards will honor the 40th anniversary of the SBIR program.
The Tibbetts Awards are presented to those small businesses and organizations judged to exemplify the best in the SBIR or STTR programs. The award is named for Roland Tibbetts, acknowledged as the father of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, and is presented to companies and supporting organizations which have leveraged the SBIR/STTR investment, or helped others do so, in a way that has generated measurable impacts.
Anyone can nominate a business and/or supporting organization for a Tibbetts Award including self-nominations. Please submit formal nominations via https://www.
All Tibbetts Award winners will be selected by the SBA based on the recommendations of a panel of judges. Award winners will be notified in June.
