The cohort of local entrepreneurs has been chosen for the Freehold Accelerator Program. You saw them pitch their business ideas at the Freehold Borough Pitch Event in 2022. Now it’s time to watch them in action LIVE in front of an audience!

We are proud to present the Freehold Borough Demo Day to our community. This Demo Day event acts as an opportunity for the selected cohort to present their business to a live audience, giving them much-needed practice in presenting to venture capitalists and lending entities. Demo Day is when these students will demonstrate exactly what they’ve learned over the past 15 weeks as part of the graduating cohort of the Freehold Innovation Accelerator Program, putting their newfound knowledge into real-life practice.

The Freehold Borough Demo Day will take place on Thursday, April 27th, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm ET. Refreshments will be served to the audience during the event. What was the Freehold Borough Pitch Event?

This event, similar to “Shark Tank,” focused on the pitch as a way to help launch and grow local businesses. The entrepreneurs received valuable advice and mentoring from small business leaders and pitched their ideas before a panel of investors and lenders to compete for cash and services essential to small business owners.

This community event kicked off the Freehold Borough Innovative Accelerator Program, where local entrepreneurs and start-up businesses were invited to pitch their business ideas to an audience and panel of judges. The top finalists from the Freehold Borough Pitch Event were accepted into the accelerator cohort.

The 15-week program required each entrepreneur to complete the Entrepreneurship Certification Program and Digital Blueprint Certificate programs while participating in bimonthly mentorship forums and specialty events.
